What Is FMYC?
FMYC is a nation-wide discipleship event for Free Methodist high school students held on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Guests and Artists
The Skit Guys
Tommy Woodard and Eddie James are The Skit Guys. They have been best friends since high school. Think of them as the wise guys in class who had everyone laughing and managed to make a career out of it. They’ve been teaching God’s word using comedy, drama and whatever category talking action figures fit into for over twenty years.
Lacey has earned legions of fans worldwide not only through her astoundingly emotive voice and chart-topping songwriting, but also for the sheer sincerity of the uplifting messages pervading her work. Whether fronting multi-million-selling hard rockers Flyleaf or now as a solo artist (not to mention as an author and speaker), she remains uncommonly true to herself while inspiring others to strive for better ways to live and love.
Phil returns to FMYC once again as our main stage speaker. Phil is an amazingly-gifted speaker, pastor, husband, and father, whose passion for the kingdom of God shines immensely whenever he shares. His infectious approach to sharing the truth of God’s Word will challenge students to a deeper commitment in RELENTLESSLY pursuing the God of the Universe.
Feed My Starving Children
Today, an estimated 925 million people in our world today are chronically hungry, even though there is enough food for everyone! As followers of Christ, we cannot accept this! In fact, we desire to be RELENTLESS in eliminating such tragedies. FMYC is excited to team up with Feed My Starving Children to offer the opportunity for students to serve at our MobilePack™ event. Our goal is to package over 100,000 meals in one day. In turn, these meals will be distributed all over the world! In the spring, your group will have the chance to sign up to participate in this life-changing aspect of our FMYC experience.
What are you waiting for?
FMYC WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR TEENS AND LEADERS. GOD’S PRESENCE COULD NOT BE MISSED IN THAT PLACE. WATCHING OUR TEENS GROW IN THEIR LOVE FOR CHRIST WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP. WE STILL LOOK BACK TO THE MEMORIES WE MADE IN 2014 AND CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS COMING SUMMER. OUR GROUP HAS GROWN SO WE’RE EXCITED TO BRING NEW FACES WITH US, AND A FEW OF OUR TEENS WHO HAVE GRADUATED HAVE ALREADY ASKED IF THEY CAN CHAPERONE!
KALEIGH, YOUTH LEADER
FMYC WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR OUR TEENS! RELATIONSHIPS WERE BUILT AND DEEPENED, THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVED THROUGH MUSIC, THE WORD, PRAYER AND MORE. IT IS AMAZING HOW HE WORKS IN AN ENVIRONMENT LIKE THIS.
CHADWICK, YOUTH PASTOR
GOD USED FMYC TO IMPACT OUR STUDENTS IMMENSELY! NOT ONLY DID STUDENTS RECOMMIT THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST, SEVERAL COMMITTED THEIR FUTURES TO SERVING CHRIST THROUGH VOCATIONAL MINISTRY.
DAVE, YOUTH PASTOR
FMYC WAS THE GREATEST PART OF MY SUMMER. HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS AND BE WITH THAT MANY PEOPLE WHO WERE ALL WANTING GOD TO CHANGE THEIR LIFE WAS INCREDIBLE. THE ENERGY FROM THE BANDS, THE SPEAKERS, AND ACTIVITIES DEFINITELY LEAVES AN IMPACT.
FMYC WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE CONFERENCE PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ME TO ENCOUNTER GOD’S PRESENCE LIKE NEVER BEFORE. AS I WORSHIPED AMONG MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, GOD OPENED MY HEART AND ALLOWED ME TO SEE HIM IN A NEW WAY.
